Just got back from the 1st Annual Austin Bike Film Festival Hardcourt Bicycle Polo Tournament where Ryan from pensacola won the tournament alongside Paul (nola) and Frazer (mobile/nola). After going undefeated in the Round Robin Saturday then moved on to win its first 3 games in the Double Elimination Tournament on Sunday then losing the first of the championship games to make a Final Championship game against Squid Ink (from nola/dc) and won 5-3.

Just got back from ottawa after missing a connecting flight and spending 12 extra hours flying around the usa and canada i made it without my bicycle to the NORTH SIDE POLO INVITATIONAL in OTTAWA.

greeted and then treated to the FOUR FINGER DISCOUNT a team i was suppose to be on but grabbed a fourth member just incase i didnt make it. We rotated team members and never really gelled. I was playing on a loner bike that wasnt a polo ready stead atleast in the gear ratio or what i was use to. We ended up being DFL. but its about playing no matter what and having fun and that was had. THANKS CANADA! will be there next year!

We just returned from the Atlanta Mid Summer Invitational where the Ryan Elrite and Ryan Saulsbury playiing alongside of Jeff Deff from NOLA as team TUCHACHUBUFFA took 4th place. While A.B. played with Cherri and another Jax player and didnt do so well but had an awesome time!

This Sunday June 7th a couple of us are traveling to play pick up in NEW ORLEANS to return the favor and get some more practice in for the ATL MIDSUMMERS June 19-21st.

HEY PENSACOLA we have some POLO visitors from LEXINGTON KENTUCKY that some of us met at the ESPI4 in BOSTON so lets play some polo!

thanks to everyone that came from all over and in town to first ever bike polo spring break and sespi one. we had some bumps but we made it through it and now next yearwill be even better with better courts and the whatnots. pick up games through the week, trips to new orleans, beach house and hotel room parties, beach beach beach, hot boiled peanuts, zip ties out the wazoo, you kids and your pool hockey, airport pick ups and al that other junk that stays on bike polo spring break.

a local reporter Travis Griggs contacted us wanting to do a story for the Pensacola News Journal so we played out at the beach trying to play on the streethockey court but the hockey players were there so we played on the tennis courts since they were empty. the newspaper version should be out on this coming sunday but he also did a video which is here for your viewing and sharing!

All Florida Bike Polo Championships (orlando bike weekend dec 13&14 2008)

wow. 16 teams from all over full results posted soon...

Tallahasse beat Pcola 5-4 in a long championship game after a round robin round with 4 pools of 4 teams with the top two teams from each pool going to a elite 8 single elimination bracket. (even though there was a contested "shuffle" on what should have been pcolas winning goal instead momentum swung tallys way and they scored the next two to win it all). Pensacola even though coming away without the golden mallet still only lost one game (being the championship) and tied one

the games were moved last minute to a better courts right next to the Citrus Bowl huge stadium in the "ghetto" in a park where an RV pulls up with a r&b/hiphop/jazz dj blast music and a guy has a bbq stand and the locals loved us and were betting on the games!

The Golden Mallet (Florida Bike Polo Championships answer to the stanley cup which there will be an engraved piece for each years winner on the mallet handle and will be passed on hopefully)

Bike Polo Potluck & Send off to Orlando!

WEDNESDAY DEC 10th we will be hosting a Polo Potluck at our normal courts under I-110 near Hayes & Blount st behind the Cecil T Hunter Pool. Bring Bikes and Vegan foods!

This will be our last game before some of us travel to Orlando for the Orlando Bike Weekend and ALL FLORIDA BIKE POLO CHAMPIONSHIPS! We also will be filming some games for the first time!

So come out weather you want to play polo (we have extra mallets) or just hang out eat some food, watch some dorks play polo, have some beverages!!
